One of the many traditions after having a new baby is sending birth announcements out to loved ones near and far. My mom vividly remembers filling out my announcements the night I was born. Nowadays, most parents wait a week or two to send these delightful letters out in the mail, because they want to include photos of their tiny babies.
I decided to use photos from our newborn photo shoot, with Rhode Island photographer, Erica Shea, as well as the photo sharing website, Shutterfly, to create our birth announcements.
In addition to our friends and family, I have decided to send birth announcements to the President of the United States, as well as the second most important family in the land – Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Rumor has it that both will send a congratulations letter back – and I hope its true. That would be one super cool addition to Itty Bitty’s Baby Book!
