We had an autumnal adventure this weekend – apple picking for the first time as a family!
Tall Dad and I sampled all of the different apple available. Some tasted fantastic raw, whereas others didn’t pass the taste-test. We found out afterwards that some apples are better baked than raw…oops! Well now we know!

Looks like a great time! We need to make an apple picking trip soon. Loved your husband's reaction to the Cortland apple. I only use those for baking for the same reason! But they taste great in apple crisp!!
