I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Traveling with two kids two and under takes a lot of work and planning. There are diapers, outfits, change of outfits, pajamas, special soap, sleeping arrangements, snacks, and toys. But we were able to save a ton of space in our car in a recent trip to Maine, thanks to some pretty cool new toys.

It’s because for this trip we brought along some Playskool Stow ‘N Go toys, which fold up to be small and portable. They are perfect for families on the go, or even to keep one stored in your diaper bag for the occasional trip to a friend’s house.

My three month old is currently rolling over working on her tummy time. The toy she played with on our trip was the Fold ‘N Go Busy Elephant.

It is soft, and has tons of fun things for an infant to look at and play with while they are on the floor. There is a mirror, colorful crunchy sounding fabric, a shaker, and more.

She has really enjoyed this toy, shakes the shaker, looks in the mirror, and occasionally tastes the plush animal 😉

My two year old son had a few of these Play, Stow and Go toys for the trip.

The lion stacker is pretty cool – works on colors, sizes (bigger or smaller) and also his fine motor skills.

Rhys had a lot of fun with this toy, and I would say that this one soaked up his attention for the longest time. I adore how small it becomes when the pieces are put back inside. In addition to the stacking and sorting, my son works on colors – and each cup has a different shape cut out in the middle!

His second favorite of these toys was the Play Stow Go Pop Up Shape Sorter. I am most impressed with this toy’s compact storage ability, and am planning on bringing this one to our friends’ and families houses when toys aren’t already there – especially for the holiday season.

This toy is AWESOME because of how it morphs from being so small into being a larger shape sorter!

Another hit was the Roll N Gears Car. I like how the gears can teach cause and effect – for if you turn one the others move. My son loves driving it around the room.

The gears can pop off, and be reassembled, stacked on top of one another, or placed into a different design.

The last toy aimed at toddlers that we had a chance to review is a doll called Dressy Kids that helps toddlers work on dressing skills -like zipping, buckling, and buttons. These are all skills that we will be working on in the near future, so I’m going to be taking it out in a few months from now to work on those skills with our little man.

The new line of Playskool toys was created because consumers and parents said that they needed toys that were perfect for travel and other transition times. These toys are all lightweight, portable, and infuse entertainment for little ones  – allowing playtime to happen nearly anytime, anywhere!

Each item in the new Playskool collection can easily be compacted to stow inside a stroller or a diaper bag, while some even fit into a jacket pocket. The toys are super easy to open, and are all fun and colorful – all the while encouraging fine motor skills and sensory play. We took all of these toys with us up to Portland Maine recently, and the saved us SO MUCH SPACE, and yet kept our kids’ attentions captivated.

Overall, I’m quite impressed with these new toys. Even if you didn’t need them for travel, I like that they are space savers. Some really smart people figured out a way to take some of our favorite toys and condense them into being super portable !
