One of the great things about having a job that pays me to play with makeup, is creating fun looks like this Copper Halo Eyeshadow tutorial. I’ll admit, I never really thought about playing with colors like this before. I always thought, being a green-eyed lass, that I should steer towards the more purple colors on the spectrum, but let me tell you, this copper quad blew me away. And better yet, I believe it would be flattering on all eye colors.
What truly makes this palette shine is the quality pressed shadows, which are eye-primer infused for for up to 12 hour wear! The colors I chose were Optimistic, Manipulative, Fervent and Gullible.
I used my perfect black dip and draw liquid eyeliner, EPIC Mascara, and only three other brushes at achieve this look. Those brushes were my blending brush, angled shadow sponge brush, and cream shadow brush.
I also loved combining this look with a bold rusty red lip, of Stoic Splash Liquid Lipstick. Later in the day I topped it with just a little bit of clear gloss for a tad of shine on my pout.
I tried to steer clear from adding a lot of color on my cheeks, as I wanted my eyes to truly be the star. I used the faintest amount of blush on the center of the apples of my cheeks.
I also made sure I had a clean line of my copper halo eyeshadow, by applying my concealer AFTER I finished my eyeshadows. This helped make sure that none of the dark shades fell on my face, and also allowed me the ability to take my concealer brush and create a straight and clean line.
